Rate Shopper

Know what your competitors charge before you turn the computer on.

Every morning at 9 you get a report with the rates of the properties you compete against, on the dates that matter, across every channel they appear on. No more opening Booking in a private window.

The problem it solves

  • You check three competitors by hand, when you remember, and always on the same date.
  • You do not know whether your rate shows up more expensive on a channel than on your own website.
  • You find out the market has gone up after you have already sold the weekend cheap.

What you get

Daily rate comparison

Your price against each competitor, day by day, across the date window you define. Increases in green, drops in red, at a glance.

Channel disparities

Spots when a competitor — or you — shows different prices depending on the channel. The mismatches that cost you direct bookings.

Competitor profiles

Statistical analysis of how each competitor behaves: when they raise rates, by how much, how far ahead. And, on demand, a strategic read generated with AI.

Email report

A morning email with the state of the market. You choose how far ahead to look and who receives it.

Alerts

Notifications when a competitor crosses a threshold you set, so you do not have to check the dashboard every day.

Excel export

Three ready-to-work sheets: lowest price, channel detail and executive summary. Dates as rows, properties as columns.

Market zones

For holiday apartments, where there is no single direct competitor but an area: it aggregates your local market and places you within it.

Public, transparent rates

We show public rates, without loyalty discounts or member prices. What a first-time guest actually sees.

What you see every morning

One table, one glance: your rate, the rates of the rivals that matter to you, and the recommendation with its reasoning written out in plain language.

The right-hand column is the one you will not find in another comparator: every recommendation comes with its reason written out, not just a number.

And if one channel drifts, you know the same day

The comparator watches what every OTA is publishing for your hotel. When one falls out of parity, the row is flagged. You do not have to go looking for it.

Who it is for

  • Independent hotels competing with four or five specific properties that want to stop checking them by hand.
  • Holiday apartments that need to position themselves within an area rather than against one competitor.
  • External revenue managers running several accounts who need the market picture in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the prices come from?

From public rate sources on the main distribution channels. These are prices visible to any guest, without loyalty discounts or member rates.

How many competitors can I track?

As many as you need for the comparison to be useful. In practice, four to eight properties give the clearest read on a market.

Do I need to integrate it with my PMS?

No. Rate Shopper works on its own: you set up your property and your competitive set and it starts collecting data. Integration only matters if you want that data inside the RMS.

Can I use it alongside the RMS?

Yes, and that is where it pays off most: competitor prices feed straight into one of the layers of the recommendation engine.

Shall we talk about your property?

Twenty minutes on a video call, no sales deck. We tell you what we would do with your case and whether it makes sense to work together.
